For a debut this is near perfect. Among The Graves will be one of my favorite Black Metal albums for the next months. Hope to hear more from these guys in the future. The Band name is pretty cute. But the music is pure, raw and old school with an amazing voice. You should give it a try!

If I'm being truthful, this is one of the best black metal EPs I've heard recently. Maybe even ever. A bold statement? Perhaps. But also perhaps not. I've revisited it a lot in the past week, and I really do struggle to find flaws. I can nitpick trivialities, but I can't fault anything. The songwriting is pristine; the melodies flow so beautifully and naturally. The atmosphere is palpable and the emotion is genuine. Not so much as a single note or phrase feels misplaced. Truly magnificent.

Blackbraid quickly followed up their 2022 debut in 2023 with more native folk infused furious black metal. This is by no means a sophomore slump as it is equally excellent, methodical, melodical, and approachable as the first record. 9/10
